Here you see my personal code of ethics, which sums up my promices to horses and people. It is shaped like a circle to underline the coherent understanding which lies behind it. The code of ethics describes an ideal for the togetherness with horses and a way of sharing knowledge that I want to repressent.

 

I regard it of outmost importance that all horse people consider their set of values and to consider what is okay for their beloved horses, what is good horse welfare. Everyone can consider, how they personally can help to bring the collective of the equine community the highest possible animal welfare.​

The COE is an ideal, but there is another side to the coin of what we do NOT want to see under any circumstances. It goes without saying that all misuse, manipulation, unnecessary medicament use, insufficient medical care or mercy, lack of environment supporting natural behavior, psychological terror, regarding a living being as a material thing or other obviously harmful practices of any horse or anyone must be rejected.
